WILDCATS FC originally started as the "Waldwick Wildcats" back in the fall of 2003. Chris Salge had formed the team and joined the NJSL in the B division. For 2007 the club has developed again in the Premier US division and restablished their name to Wildcats FC.
As the club entered the 2007-2008 season there were a few changes and some new faces. We had changed our name from Waldwick Wildcats to Wildcats FC since there is no association with the town of Waldwick. Some role changes had occurred within our organization, as Chris Salge took a step down from the manager/coach position of the club. With previous seasons results, the club has continued to move into the NJSL competitive divisions. The past three years records of 10-2-1 in 2005 (1st place in the B division), 5-5-2 in 2006, and 8-4-5 in 2007 in the premier divisions, makes the club’s total 23W-11L-8T.
In 2007-2008 the club was able to finish as NJSL US Division champs. The club also made new history by posting a strong run into the NJ Men's State Cup. The Wildcats made it to the Quarterinals for the first time in the club's history.
We have a good club, and as friends and players we are looking forward to another fun and successful season. Thank you for visiting our site and we hope you enjoy it.
